Frequently asked questions
What is microsoldering?
It's repair work carried out directly on the logic board under a microscope — replacing individual chips, resistors and connectors rather than swapping a whole module. It's how a device with no power, no backlight or a charging fault gets fixed.
Can you recover my data from a dead phone?
Sometimes. If the storage itself is intact, a board repair can bring the device back long enough to get your data off. We'll always tell you upfront that recovery can't be guaranteed before we start.
How much does microsoldering cost?
It depends entirely on what's damaged, so we inspect the board first and then quote you upfront. If the repair isn't worth the cost of the device, we'll say so.
Do you repair water-damaged devices?
Yes. The sooner you bring it in the better — corrosion keeps spreading while the device sits. We clean the board ultrasonically and repair damaged circuits where possible.
Is there a warranty on board-level repair?
Board-level and liquid-damage repairs don't automatically carry our general 3–12 month repair warranty. Any warranty is confirmed with your quote and covers only the specific repair carried out, because water and impact damage can cause further faults later.
